Delloites Commercial Fitout
The main contractor was Multiplex with Alaska Interiors for fitout. As New Zealand’s 1st 5 star Green Building project all plastering and Gib stopping compound waste and packaging was either recycled or minimized. PBF gib stoppers achieved less than 2% waste factor. Waste water was completely eliminated as no waste water was permitted to leave the site. Our Gib Stoppers achieved this by cleaning and re-using water and mixing sanding dust before setting into solid block. This is our second Green Star Gib stopping project and has a 5 star rating. This is the highest rating possible, this was a fantastic achievement forPBF Gib stopper teams. Walls and ceilings over the 8 floors where designed to maintain the Heritage of the rear of the original building which was left standing while the front of the building was built new.
Over a 10 month period we successfully completed Gib stopping on 7,865 metres of Gib board with 1,401 meters of Level 5 skimming to ceilings and bulkheads. No touch ups or repairs where required after completion and all retentions where paid in full.
